GARDE Editorial
Editorial standards
GARDE pages should make the difference between evidence, interpretation, and unknowns visible to the reader.
Source Hierarchy
First-party laws, regulations, public agencies, standards bodies, audited reports, public company policies, and primary product documents sit at the top of the source hierarchy. Reputable reporting and expert commentary can add context when they are dated and attributable. Unsourced claims, anonymous assertions, and private material do not establish facts for publication.
Claim Ledger
Material factual claims should be traceable to a source, access date, and short note on scope. The ledger should distinguish direct source language from GARDE Editorial interpretation, and it should preserve meaningful changes when a page is updated.
Corrections and Updates
Corrections can be sent to [email protected]. Pages should carry update dates when facts, framing, or methodology materially change. A correction should state what was wrong, what changed, and the source or reason for the change.
Commerce Independence
Editorial conclusions should not be changed because of affiliate, partner, advertiser, or vendor preference. Every paid link, if present, must carry this exact label beside the link: Paid link. We may earn a commission. The longer Affiliate Disclosure explains the policy but does not replace that adjacent label. Affiliate relationships do not determine editorial conclusions, source selection, or whether a product is included.
Competitor Methodology
Competitor comparisons require public, auditable evidence and a current last-verified date. The working methodology is maintained atHow GARDE compares.
